Know your product is ready before the world finds out it isn’t.
I help product teams find and fix the hidden problems in their app or website before it goes live, so it’s ready to hit its adoption, conversion, and retention goals.
Book a consultationLaunch is close. Confidence isn’t.
You need a clear picture of the problems you can’t see, what matters most, and what to do about it before the date arrives. This is for teams where one of these sounds familiar:
- The team is debating whether the new feature or product is ready to launch.
- You’re considering going live with known issues because the deadline is coming fast.
- A past launch went public before its problems showed up, and they were expensive to fix.
- There’s no in-house UX research function, or it can’t move fast enough.
What you get
Speed
Rigor without the wait
Usability testing and iteration run at sprint speed. You don’t need an in-house researcher or wait for a report.
Alignment
A team that agrees on what to fix
When everyone watches the same user get stuck, priorities stop being a debate. Decisions happen in the room.
Results
A product that works on day 1
When people can finish what they came for, they adopt, convert, and come back. That’s what moves your KPIs.
How it works
-
Free 30-minute consultation
We talk through your product, your timeline, and what worries you. You’ll know whether launch readiness fits, and what an engagement would look like.
-
Walkthrough and setup
Your team demos the product for me, and I flag anything worth fixing before testing starts. Then we agree on the flows that matter most, who we test with, and at what intervals.
-
Live usability testing with real users
Sessions stream live so your team watches together. After each round, we debrief and rank every issue by risk. The team fixes the highest-priority ones, and the next round checks that the fixes worked.
-
A release-ready product
By launch, the critical problems are found, fixed, and verified, and you have the documentation to show it. Nothing known stands between your users and your adoption, conversion, or retention goals.
I notice what your users won’t tell you.
Here’s the odd thing about the moment a product fails: almost no one sees it happen. The user doesn’t complain. They don’t file a ticket. They pause for half a second, and then they quietly leave.
I first became interested in that pause in psychology and the arts, two fields built on how people perceive, think, and react. For the past 10 years, I’ve been watching for it in software, and making sure the whole team sees it too.
Most recently, I’ve led design and research for AI-powered learning products at a multinational education company. Before that, I was an independent UX consultant and conducted research for leadership and management consulting firms.
Past clients include Fortune 500 companies in finance and healthcare, Silicon Valley startups, UC Berkeley, and the U.S. government.
